‘Critter’ takes out Reserves B&F

Despite playing the last two games of the season in the seniors, 20 year old Jackson ‘Critter’ Clarke has managed to hold on to win the Sharks Reserves Best and Fairest Award in a thriller over joint runner-up’s Luke Reardon & Kaleb Williams.


The son of club legend Steven ‘Stumpy’ Clarke, polled 49 votes from his 12 games with Luke and Kaleb just 3 votes behind on 46. ‘Critter’ polled in 8 out of the first 9 games to jump to an early lead before being promoted to the seniors for four games in the back half of the season.

First year player Max Kelly had a solid year (10 reserves games / 6 senior games) finishing fourth with 37 votes, followed by Jake George 31 and Matt Dikkenberg 26 votes.
